Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VettifyNG platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VettifyNG ("we," "our," or "us").

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Service Description

VettifyNG is an online platform that connects users seeking legal opinions with verified lawyers in Bangladesh. The Service facilitates:

• Submission of case details and supporting documents by users
• Automated assignment of cases to qualified lawyers
• Delivery of written legal opinions and analysis
• Secure communication between users and assigned lawyers
• Payment processing and billing management

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of VettifyNG, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration and case submission
• Submit authentic documents that have not been tampered with or fabricated
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Bangladesh law
• Not submit fraudulent, misleading, or frivolous cases
• Not attempt to bypass the platform to engage lawyers directly for cases submitted through VettifyNG
• Be at least 18 years of age or have legal guardian consent

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and documents you submit. VettifyNG reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these responsibilities.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Individual Users

Individual users are billed on a per-case basis. The payment structure is as follows:

• 60% of the total fee is due upon case submission, before lawyer assignment
• 40% is due upon delivery of the final legal opinion and your acceptance
• All fees are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include applicable taxes

4.2 Corporate Users

Corporate users are billed monthly or per-case based on their agreement. Corporate accounts may include branch-based access, consolidated billing, and custom pricing. Corporate billing terms are set forth in a separate service agreement.

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods: bKash, VISA, Mastercard, and bank transfers. All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways.

4.4 Non-Payment

Failure to pay the remaining 40% after opinion delivery may result in account suspension, withholding of legal opinions, and referral to collections. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for non-payment.

5. Lawyer-Client Relationship Disclaimer

The legal opinions provided through VettifyNG are educational and advisory in nature. The following disclaimers apply:

• No formal attorney-client relationship is created through the use of our platform
• Legal opinions are based on the information provided; incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the opinion's utility
• Lawyers on our platform are independent professionals and not employees of VettifyNG
• VettifyNG is not responsible for the conduct, advice, or negligence of any lawyer on the platform
• Users are encouraged to independently verify the credentials of assigned lawyers through the Bangladesh Bar Council

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Bangladesh law:

• VettifyNG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• VettifyNG's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
• VettifyNG provides the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind
• VettifyNG does not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or success in legal proceedings

7. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved as follows:

• Informal resolution: Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting VettifyNG at legal@vettifyng.com
• If informal resolution fails within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration under the Bangladesh Arbitration Act, 2001
• Arbitration shall be conducted in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in English or Bangla
• The arbitration award shall be final and binding on both parties

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters not subject to arbitration.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Abusive behavior toward lawyers or platform staff
• Extended account inactivity (3+ years)

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may download your data before termination by contacting support. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The VettifyNG platform, including its name, logo, design, source code, and all content (excluding user-submitted documents and lawyer opinions), is the exclusive property of VettifyNG and is protected by Bangladesh copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
